Cascade can assist you in undertaking creative thinking about the future of your company—a future NOT necessarily based on the past.  Though many management teams think a predictable path to a successful future should be based on experiences of the immediate past, in our opinion, this is frequently not the best approach.  In any turbulent business environment, a business often needs to “let go” of the past, and imagine a future that is not predetermined, defined, and achieved based on historical company or industry patterns.
 

We firmly believe that strategic planning should be ongoing and adaptive---as opposed to just being a burdensome annual “exercise”.  And, we think it must represent an integrated effort from the entire executive team, as well as having input from operational staff.
 

We think of strategic planning as evolving AND changing, but also as a coherent set of initiatives that drive long-term performance and increases stakeholder value.
